Daya Jethalal Gada (Hindi: दया जेठालाल गड़ा) also known as Daya Bhabhi or Dayaben is the wife of Jethalal and the daughter-in-law of the Gada family. Tapu is their son. She was a resident of the Gokuldham Society. She respects Champaklal. She is from Ahmedabad, Gujarat. She popularly referred as Garba queen due to his enthusiasm in doing traditional Garba dance of Gujarat. She is a responsible and dedicated homemaker mostly busy in household chores. Dayaben is very innocent and loves her entire family. She is a very caring neighbor. Jethalal is fond of her culinary skills. Dayaben enjoys close bonding with her mother Jeevdayaben and brother Sundar, whom she calls Sunder Veera. Dayaben is a devoted wife and never refers Jethalal by name, instead she call him as Tapu ke Papa. She is a little superstitious and believes in black magic, ghosts and bad luck etc. Dayaben is very religious and prays to Mataji, the goddess. She's been shown to be very daring and fierce. She proclaimed that she beat up many thugs in Ahmedabad. She became a Naari Ratna recipient after she and the Gada Family defeated the infamous, Chaddi Gang. She was engaged to Jethalal on September 17th. She has an 'Om' symbol tattooed on her right arm.

- The role is played by Disha Vakani Padia (2008-2016, 2017, 2018, 2019). The role of Dayaben and her unique comic timing with Jethalal is one chief reason for popularity of the show.
- The actors for Sundarlal and Dayaben, Disha Vakani and Mayur Vakani, are siblings in real life.
- In 2022, Asit Modi revealed in an interview that Vakani's inavailability will cause for Daya's character to be recasted.
